I was inspired to paint this on a recent trip to Tasmania. The view is from the shore of the bay at Strahan on Tasmania’s west coast. And yes, we just missed the sunset when we arrived 😭!
This painting is a part of my 30x030x30 series. This artwork looks particularly impressive when displayed with other works from this series: the pictures are the same size and create a pleasing-to-the-eye composition.
“Basking in the Sunlight” is painted with acrylic paints on canvas, sealed with varnish to enhance the lifetime and comes signed and framed, with a wire on the back ready for hanging.
